Apparently Chrysler is currently in the process of re-designing many of the models within their range of cars. One such unit is the Town and Country model, which is due to go on sale in the very near future. From the outside there are some changes made to various parts of the cars’ body including the re-positioning of the Chrysler logo as well as minor updates to the front grille and the rear end design. So in summary, the exterior hasn’t really been changed too much; albeit there have been some tweaks made. It is under bonnet where the Town and Country has been amended the most. Chrysler have took it upon themselves to introduce their 3.6 litre “Pentastar” V6 engine that offers 283 hp. However, the downside to this is the miles per gallon ratio as the vehicle can only offer 17 mpg in and around town, and 25 when driving on the motorway. This is a Chrysler car with numerous upgrades to technology, which is clearly shown throughout the interior. A new instrumental panel and steering wheel, along with a new Chrysler logo are just some of the updated that have been made and all provide a fresh and crisp feel to what is a very much an improved area of the vehicle. This is certainly an upgrade from the previous used Chrysler models and is the highlight of what is now a beautiful vehicle. The Chrysler Town and Country is expected to provide consumers with a new style of automobile and if first impressions are anything to go by, it could well go on to become a huge success.

Known for their small, compact and efficient here in Europe, Chevrolet has recently released some information on one of their latest conquests; the 2011 Cruze model, which will effectively replace the aging used Chevrolet Cobalt unit. This new car will enable Chevrolet to compete on levels that was previously unattainable and is expected to rival some of the more established cars within the same class. Unfortunately, for our European readers at least, the new Cruze has been designed to attract the masses in the American market. However, don’t rule out future plans to introduce a European version of the vehicle if, as expected, the 2001 Cruze goes on to achieve substantial success in the market. Like with most Chevvy vehicles, the new Cruze is compact and well designed but it does not go overboard with its exterior looks and design. The inside of the vehicle, however, is slightly more extravagant and gives the car that little extra edge on its competitors. Space for all occupants is readily available and there is also admirable storage space for transporting large amounts of luggage. So what else does this new model offer when compared to the older used version? Well there is the rather large matter of the new engines that have been introduced with new 1.4 litre and 1.8 litre types on show; both of which provide a better rate of MPG over the previous Cruze model. This is a Chevrolet that does exactly what it says on the tin and will hopefully be making its way across the pond once it has captured the imagination of the American audience.

When the used BMW 6 Series was first released I was one of many car enthusiasts that thought it would go on to become a real BMW legend. I was of the opinion that, not only would it help propel the brand of BMW to new heights, but it would also become one of the greats in the industry. But for whatever reason the 6-Series didn’t seem to generate as much interest as many believed it would, and so it ended up being a model that just seemed to fizzle out. Well they say that an upgrade can be extremely important in helping to re-establish and re-invent a particular brand, and it seems that BMW are doing just that with the new 6-Series model. Initial thoughts and opinions on the new BMW 6-Series Coupe is that there is definitely market improvements in terms of exterior styling. The vehicle appears to be much smoother in its design and in doing so; provides a much more luxurious and elegant look to a car that is ideally suited for the corporate sector. One area that has certainly changed is the front grille of the car, which displays LED headlights. The reason for highlighting this particular element of design is because it is actually the first BMW car to do so and therefore show that the company have been willing to go that extra yard in making the new 6-Series a success. The thing is that the original used BMW 6-Series wasn’t in need of too many updates as it was visually impressive. However, the new version certainly shows numerous marked improvements that will hopefully enable the unit to receive the plaudits that it deserved in the beginning.

Who would have thought that a four seated, 2 doors Grand Tourer introduced in the year 1995 would have such a successful impact on the brand of Bentley. With a total of three different models since then, the used Bentley Azure has gone on to become quite the addition to the Bentley range. So it all started in 1995 as the first generation and this continued for eight years (until 2003) when there was a gap in production until 2006. At this time the used Bentley Azure of the second generation was released and this had a shelf life of just three years. The third generation of the vehicle, the Azure T, was then formally introduced to the market and has remained intact ever since. This most recent unit saw various design and style changes such as lower grilles, an upgraded fuel cap and new wing air vents (for the lower front wing). The car is now also equipped with numerous features that now come as standard such as a tyre pressure monitoring system and an electronic stability program (ESP). In terms of performance the Bentley Azure T has a top speed of approximately 179 miles per hour and can achieve 0 to 60 miles per hour in just over six seconds. Of course luxury is evident throughout and it is the interior inside the unit that epitomises this with ease. Bentley have become famous for their luxurious interiors and the Azure is certainly no different – especially the most recent model, which oozes with both glamour and class to ensure that occupants feel the art of luxury.

Unfortunately every coupe style car in the Volkswagen range will ultimately be compared to the VW Golf, which has become the main focal point of the company. This seems to have been the reality of the situation for quite some time but maybe, just maybe, things are about to change. The all new Volkswagen Scirocco has recently come onto the scene and already it is the talk of the industry for many people. Its unique style means that it is very much a stand out vehicle from Volkswagen and there are plenty of comparisons being made with the new and used Volkswagen Golf. The new Scirocco is a three door sports car that has been part of two previous generations, which started in 1974 and 1992. So in that sense it has had a good break from the market and has now kind of reinvented itself and became more modern. Its squashed design seemingly looks like a VW Golf that has been shortened in height but increased in style. Yes folks you did read that correctly the new Scirocco is a car that is definitely more stylish than the Golf, which for ease of description, can be classed as being quite simple. Effective and a remarkable vehicle nonetheless, the Golf is what it is and has made itself a huge success. However, the Scirocco is very different and provides a feel of the future thanks to its outer shell design and updated interior. It also comes available in eight different engines, which makes it a relevant purchase for a wide variety of different drivers.
